Sian Lewis
Artist //
Collaborator

Sian’s work gathers around light and colour within a mythological ‘grove’ where trees, flora, the human figure, the horse are themes manifest as artefacts, sometimes held in spatial compositions, forming installations on a ‘domestic’ scale. The concept of ‘home’ is explored on many levels merging artworks with aspects of interior design. An atmosphere borne of meditation is a guiding inspiration.

Her multidisciplinary practice weaves across bronze sculpture, materials sympathetic to light, paintings and drawings, photography and video. An ongoing interest in ‘neuroarts’ stems from earlier work in art/psychology, which led to art/wellbeing projects in NHS hospitals.
